Hello little babes, let me share this new item I got from Sampleroom. The Colour Collection Ultimate Wear Slim Lipstick in Naked Peach.
I ordered another lippie this month, because what self respecting girl doesn't need another tube of lipstick? Lucky for me, the site had one in a shade I was looking for - something pink and natural. I have been obsessed with gradient lips, and this would look great as the base color.
This lipstick promises rich, longwearing color that glides on smoothly and doesn’t fade
away easily. Always hydrating and never drying, this high-cushioned
lipstick keeps lips moisturized all day, minimizes the appearance of
fine lines, and stops feathering to give lips the perfect plumped-up
appearance. Slim and handy, with a see through window for easy
identification.
Now let's see how this fares out. Above is a swatch of the lipstick on the back of my hand. This CC lipstick glides very smoothly and I can feel that it has a lip balm kind of texture. It may look light on first swatch, but it is buildable.
Now this is how it looks when used. I love that it makes my lips look this pink. I dabbed a bit of Nyx Rose in the center of my lips for a subtle gradient look. You can skip that part and it will still look pink and radiant. The color is long lasting, though you may need a few touch ups after eating or drinking. The hydrating effect doesn't last all day but it is good for 3-5 hours. I had to retouch my lips as the center was starting to get chapped when I wore this out.
Overall, I love this lipstick and I can definitely see myself wear this everyday. I might not repurchase the same hue, just to try out the other colors - but this is a good buy, and is definitely worth every penny.
