Get Organized: Fashionary Sketchbook

Happy Sunday, Everyone!

I would love to rave to you about this wonderful sketchbook that doubles as a fashion dictionary, hence its name: Fashionary Sketchbook. I just adore it to bits. I was so glad I won this from Tin's Birthday Giveaway here.

Want to take a peek? Scroll down below.

Front and back cover with the paper insert (no flash)

Front cover without the paper insert (with flash)
I love the simple design. It looks very sleek and professional.

Introduction bookmark
This bookmark explains the inspiration for the creation of the sketchbook

A page to fill in your contact information with, in case your sketchbook gets lost

Body measurements and basic conversion tables

A glossary of almost everything related to apparels, shoes, and accessories
Love that they included sewing patterns above the glossary as reference.

My fave part? This section on shoes! <3

Common terms and patterns used in fashion design

A dated page to post your important meetings/events with.

Semi-blank pages with barely seen figure templates you can use as a guide for your sketches.
The templates are subtle so you can also use this page as you normally would with any blank page.

In the back, there is a little flap where you can keep important letters, invites, money(?) hidden.

Overall, I am in love with this sketchbook. I can use this to sketch planned outfits, but I'll bet this would be perfect for fashion design students who need to make quick sketches for school.

Above is just a peek of what is included in the sketchbook, there are other informative pages including the list of brands and fashion weeks around the world.

Unboxing the BDJ Elite Box 2017 : Colour Collection

Hello my darlings! Today, we will be unboxing my first BDJ Elite Box. I have been curious about these boxes for a while now, so I jumped in excitement when the team from BDJ sent me this care package. :)

You can get all of these items from Colour Collection, which retails for more than 4,000 all together, for only Php 1480 at I highly suggest this for any beginner makeup artist since you can grow your kit with these essential makeup items.

The All Day Wear Lengthening Mascara (P399) and Brow Mascara (P399) are the perfect duo in creating that sleek eye makeup look. The brow mascara is very pigmented so swipe conservatively. :)

The 14HR Liquid Eye Liner Pen (P369) is very sharp and pigmented. I wore this to work the other day and it was very jet black - I love it! :)

This Eye Shadow Trio Palette (P399) is the bomb! It's matte but not too pigmented, so it's very forgiving for first time users. I am totally into Dove Cameron's makeup look and I found that…

2nd BDJ Women's Summit {Giveaway Closed}

Hello darlings! Welcome back to the blog. Today, I'll be showing you what transpired last weekend at the 2nd BDJ Women's Summit. This charitable event was not only inspirational, but it also paved a way for people to get in touch with causes that benefit the women and children of the Philippines. These partner organizations include: Ahon sa Hirap Inc., Angat Buhay, ECPAT PH, Kinamot Nga Buhat, Grace to be Born, Elsie Gaches, Miss Possibilities Foundation, Fairplay for All Foundation, Girls Got Game PH, Plush and Play, as well as Jacinto and Lirio.

I took my friend with me to the Summit Talks and we thoroughly enjoyed their stories. Among the amazing line up of speakers, my absolute favorite ones were about BDJ founder, Darlyn Ty's beginnings and OFW turned Businesswoman, Rebecca Bustamante-Mills success story. It just goes to show that anybody can make it big with small beginnings.

Google Chromecast Review

Hello my little darlings!  Sorry for not posting anything for the past few months. I have been hooked on microwave popcorn and Netflix for so long that I forgot to update this little space. Speaking of binge watching, I have been enjoying streaming the latest episode of Riverdale on my TV thanks to Google Chromecast and Netflix.

The Google Chrome cast is a tiny portable gadget that turns any ordinary TV into a smart TV in four easy steps:

1. Connect one end of the Chromecast to any HDMI port on your TV.

2. Connect the USB end into the power adaptor and into a power outlet, or just simple connect the USB into any USB ports in your TV. The Chromecast has a lengthy cord that can be perfectly hidden behind the TV by adjusting the straps.

3. Download the Google Cast app on your mobile phone or tablet and set up the chromecast to connect to your home wifi.

4. Download streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu or Youtube and start watching your favorite shows.

If this doesn't instantly turn you …
