Ha[u]te Me Not

  Living in a tropical country like the Philippines has it's perks.   For one thing, I can get a tan from soaking some sun at the comfort of my own home. No beach/tanning bed necessary. But one of the disadvantages of this season though, is that it's warm and sunny one moment and guns blazing raining the next. That is why, I always dress for two different weather conditions.   I wore this black crop top with white leopard print pocket shorts for the summer feel. Well hello there, my lovelies! How has this weather been treating you?  In most parts of the world, people are enjoying fields of snow and are wearing layer upon layer of heavy clothing (even though it's suppose to be spring) . But in this nook of the globe, people are starting to purchase bikinis and sun tan lotion as summer is about to begin. With the weather being hot and humid at first, and freezing the next --dressing up in sweaters has become a bit tricky for me. So, how do you dress up for days when you don't know if it'll be cold or humid?  Well, I incorporate dark winter sweaters with light fabric that breathe well on hot and humid days. How do you guys recycle clothing so you could incorporate it to this season's trends? UVA/UVB protection glasses are a hot item this season. Happy Friday, Everyone! Curious about the set in my casual shoot above? This, my friends, was taken inside Sweet Ecstasy Cafe in a street lost in time.. the famed Cubao X! I la-la-love the interiors, and the wonderful accents including this awesome chair. If you haven't heard about Cubao X, well let me tell you, this is definitely a place frozen in time and trapped inside the whimsies of their creative and artistic owners.    One thing I must warn you about this artist community though, no commercial photography allowed. If you, however, cannot resist the urge to camwhore, do so within the confines of a quiet shop at your own discretion (and with permission, of course) . Happy Friday, dearies! As some of you might not know, I've recently taken part at the Glorietta Vibe 's attempt at the Guinness Book of World Records for the most models walking on the runway. Here are some of the clips I managed to snap with my Canon A3300 powershot. Call time at 8:00AM and the place was already swamped with models Bright lights on an even brighter day This is where we were kept (hostage, lols) before the show. Runway 3 is center stage, btw. *Gulps* My booties all dirty from walking Briefing + Make-up Time At the holding area with some of my co-models Managed to snap this with my phone before my fifteen-seconds-of-fame airtime walking at the show  Some treats I received after the event And if you're wondering, we did break the world record for most models walking the runway with 2255 people. Hoorah! I was so happy for that success that I dropped by Forever 21...
