BDJ BOX BEAUTY SOCIAL 2013

Hello Everyone! Let me share about my recent trip to BDJ Box's Beauty Social 2013 at the Mall of Asia. If you haven't known yet,  BDJ Box is a monthly beauty subscription service that lets you try out the best and latest beauty products before purchasing them for a full price. Call it, a trial version for skin care and make-up, if you will. :) During this event, pre-registered and walk-in guests are able to join beauty talks about selected topics. I had joined the 1PM : "Beauty Questions Solved!" talk, which were lead by the BDJ Box Beauty Ministry. I loved this particular talk, as I was becoming inclined to listening and watching beauty vloggers as well. After attending a talk, guests can also walk down the pink carpet to have their beauty shot ( I call this a kikay mugshot ) taken by professional photographers.  Aside from the photo-op, guests can also take part in various activities hosted by partner brands at the event. Stripes & Acid Wash

Well hello there, my lovelies! How has this weather been treating you?  In most parts of the world, people are enjoying fields of snow and are wearing layer upon layer of heavy clothing (even though it's suppose to be spring) . But in this nook of the globe, people are starting to purchase bikinis and sun tan lotion as summer is about to begin. With the weather being hot and humid at first, and freezing the next --dressing up in sweaters has become a bit tricky for me. So, how do you dress up for days when you don't know if it'll be cold or humid?  Well, I incorporate dark winter sweaters with light fabric that breathe well on hot and humid days. How do you guys recycle clothing so you could incorporate it to this season's trends? UVA/UVB protection glasses are a hot item this season. I am still loving this one I got from Romwe as these are not only chic, but they keep my peepers protected as well. I am in love with steam pun

She Eats: Larcy's Cupcakery Cafe

Happy Sunday, lovelies! Craving for sweets this weekend? Well, I certainly was. And, to satisfy this sweet tooth addiction, me and my friend had gone to a new cupcake place that recently opened in BF Homes - Larcy's Cupcakery Cafe . My friend ordered the Hot Frozen Choco Drink with her pasta. This sweet and savory combo is a lovely choice to get your fill for lunch. And I ordered a Choco Freeze with my Banana Bread cupcake and had the Pink Velvet cupcake to go. I was trying to eat light as we were going out after lunch. I love how moist my Banana bread cupcake was, and it goes well with my frozen beverage.   Don't you just adore the interiors? It reminds me of cute and quirky cafes I see in Koreanovelas .   I also love the pink and white motif of the store. This vaguely reminds me of my favorite baking show, the DC Cupcakes. I am absolutely crazy about baking shows, and I hope to try it some time soon.    Looking up, I saw these love

LOST AND TRAPPED

Happy Friday, Everyone! Curious about the set in my casual shoot above? This, my friends, was taken inside Sweet Ecstasy Cafe in a street lost in time.. the famed Cubao X! I la-la-love the interiors, and the wonderful accents including this awesome chair. If you haven't heard about Cubao X, well let me tell you, this is definitely a place frozen in time and trapped inside the whimsies of their creative and artistic owners.    One thing I must warn you about this artist community though, no commercial photography allowed. If you, however, cannot resist the urge to camwhore, do so within the confines of a quiet shop at your own discretion (and with permission, of course) . Sorry if I could not post shots of what the community looks like, was caught flinging a camera and was prohibited to do so. :) Hole in the wall shot. That Salmon Girl

Happy Friday, Everyone! Recognize the top? This was what I wore on the Benefit Emergency Workshop last week. I de-constructed that post into a lookbook and feature post for you guy s .  If you noticed the title, the Salmon Girl is from the book, The Lovely Bones . I was i nterested in re ading it after seeing the movie on HBO . The s tory is a bit depressing but had good insights on what it was like to lose a loved one in a tragic event. The movie, although short had done the book a bit of justi ce . Cutting this book review sh ort, here are my sh ots. Love the polka x animal print combo in this top. I added a blazer to add a pop of color to this otherwise, dreary outfit.   People have been complimenting and asking me about these round glasses from Romwe . I absolutely love them. I bring them with me on sunny days out. <3 Top: Bangkok  Round Rose Glasses: Romwe, see here Shorts: Kirin Kirin, old see here Tights: Forever 21, old see here Shoes:
