March Favorites

Let me talk about a few of my beauty must haves this month. I am all about the greens and the all natural. I think that the less we put on, the better our skin gets. And boy, does my flesh need a breather from my zombie-ish routine.

Nature Republic Aloe Vera Soothing Gel. I have been seeing this over department store counters and have always wondered what it was like to use. So one day, I decided to take one of these home. And surprisingly, I wasn't disappointed. They said that this gel could be used for a variety of things - hair, skin, face, etc. The only thing it wasn't was edible. This summer, my skin (especially around my face) is extremely dry and flaky and I found that this is a great moisturizer to use at night. In the mornings, when I wash my face I can still feel a little bit of the gel come right off. My face feels soft and plump. The best part of it is that it doesn't break me out and this tub will probably last me a long time.

Nature Republic Eyebrow Pencil #3. When you find something that works for you, like how this pencil does for me - then you wouldn't find a reason not to repurchase. This pencil has been a makeup staple ever since I first heard of it back in 2013. It has the perfect shade of ashy brown. Plus, it comes with a spooly on the other end. What's not to love?

Maybelline White Superfresh Powder in Nude Beige. I have always loved my Maybelline compact foundations, and this one is no exception. I was about to purchase a refill of my Clear Smooth All-In-One when I saw this at the check out counter. I decided to try this out instead, and I have been using it for a week now. I love the scent and the finish, and my face stays matte the entire day. I might also try out their dream matte foundation one of these days and compare the two.

The Face Shop Eye and Lip Makeup Remover. It helps remove my eye makeup plus it's green tea infused. It leaves no residue and has no awful smell. It does the job, and I think I'll finish this bottle and try out another one from the same company.

Cat Eye Sunnies. These are an old favorite, and I included it in this list because I have had to whip this babies out again. The sun's rays are getting a little fiercer this summer, and this pair helps keep the rays out of my eyes. I love that they are cat eyed, and they're perfect for strutting around town all day long.

Microblocks. If you follow me on instagram, then you've seen a pic or two of this little tyke. My best friend got me this last time at the Supersale Bazaar. And I just had the time of my life building his little tushy- and the rest the comes with it. I was thinking of purchasing more, and I hope they have other elaborate designs.

And that's it for last March's favorites. Please leave me a note in the comment section below which one you think you would like to try out, or which one you would like me to make an extensive review on. Feel free to share your monthly favorites as well.

xx Stay golden xx

Sweet Temptation

Happy Friday, Everyone! I hope you are all enjoying the chilly weather right now. I know I am. It makes dressing up a lot more fun since I can play with a lot layers. But before I bid my spring dresses goodbye, let me show you a cute little piece I have been eyeing for quite a while from ROMWE . This is the Backless Nude Shift Dress I have recently gotten from this store. I love the texture and the draping on this one. It makes me feel like I am somewhat, a Goddess ( in my dreams! ) I absolutely adore the back! Love the little bow that holds it all together. Too sweet for words! And I love the side cut-out as well. It adds such a wonderful effect to this dress. Pardon my consistent gawking, but is it not to die for? Speaking of things to die for, I am currently reading Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children . Recently, I have been interested in twisted/tragic novels such as these, so if you could recommend any good ones please leave me a
